  1. The information in this table follows the IUPAC Nomenclature of Inorganic Chemistry Recommendations, 2001 (http://www.chem.qmul.ac.uk/iupac/AtWt/) (Pure Appl. Chem. 2003, 75, 1107-1122).
  2. Elements with no stable nuclides have the mass number of their longest-lived isotope shown in brackets. Th, Pa and U have their masses in brackets because they have no stable nuclides; however there is an identifiable characterstic terrestrial isotopic composition, and this is given.
  3. The elements B, Si, Ge, As, Sb, Te, Po and At are classified as metalloids. These are sometimes demarcated in periodic tables and sometimes not. Here, we chose not to mark them.
